Overview
The Jameson Links is situated just fifteen minutes from Dublin International Airport and enjoys an unrivalled coastal location on the shoreline of a rugged peninsula with stunning views over the famous five-mile “Velvet Strand”.
This fantastic 18-hole Championship links course was designed by Bernhard Langer and opened for play in 1995. The course is set in the grounds of the Old Jameson Estate of St. Marnocks and has played host to a number of professional and amateur events, including the 2008 and 2009 Ladies Irish Open. Jameson Links makes full use of the dunes and natural terrain to provide a layout that will please the most ardent of links purists. The elevated tees and greens, blind approaches and doglegs, not to mention those typical links sea breezes, will keep you thinking through every round.
The course offers a tough challenge for golfers, particularly on the back nine. Gently undulating fairways, leading to large fast greens, must be negotiated through 98 strategically placed bunkers, whilst hillocks, wild grasses and gorse await wayward shots. The recent investment programme by new owners Kennedy Wilson has included upgrading machinery, extensive upgrades of the course including the creation of a short game area, riveting of traditional links pot bunkers, grass pathways, all enhancements that make full use of the dunes and natural terrain.
Location

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary.
