Situated within 650 acres of stunning Welsh countryside, The Vale Resort Golf Club boasts two superb Championship golf courses. Both courses have played host to a number of PGA golf tournaments over the years, the latest being the Wales Challenge 2009. The golf courses offer a mixture of mature wooded areas, wide and narrow fairways and vast areas of water features. The Wales National stretches to 7,433 yards and is one of the longest outside America.
Opened in June 2003, the award winning Wales National Golf Course mixes up mature woodland, fearsome bunkers, tricky water features and USGA standard greens to make for a challenging round of golf. Its 6th hole has been voted as one of the top 10 par 4s in the UK. The course has wide and narrow fairways, spectacular scenery and an abundance of wildlife. The Lake Course is dominated by a 20-acre lake and is aptly named, with water coming into play on 12 of its holes. The course is slightly shorter than the Wales National at 6,436 yards, but it is just as challenging. Its 8th hole looks down over the largest heronry in Wales. Its unique signature hole, The Island Green (12th), is ranked one of the UK’s top golf holes. The Vale Academy offers expert golf coaching and tuition. The Academy has state-of the art coaching video equipment and GASP advanced coaching systems (used by Sky Sports) and is one of a limited number of institutions for golf in Wales that can boast these facilities.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
