Overview
The superb 18-hole course at Grand Avignon Golf Club is set within 60 hectares of beautiful land, just 10 minutes from the historical city centre of Avignon. The course is relatively flat with wide, long fairways and very true greens that sometimes slope treacherously. The course will provide an interesting challenge for all abilities, with its abundance of trees, its five lakes and 72 bunkers to avoid.
It is well sheltered from the wind and sun and is a very pretty course with its typical Provencal vegetation of lavender, olive trees, lilacs and cypresses. The course is open for play all year round and is kept in good physical condition. Excellent practice facilities and a comfortable clubhouse complete the fantastic golfing experience you will get at Grand Avignon Golf Club.

The South and South-west of France are two contrasting regions bound together by superb golf. The Atlantic coast from Bordeaux to Biarritz is a relatively unspoilt. Famous fort seafood and surfing this coastline has a fantastic choice of top class golf courses and a mix of accommodation from Chateaux in the Dordogne to family run hotels tucked away in the countryside to luxury palace hotels in lively resorts. It is generally quieter and better value than the South of France.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
