The Royal Birkdale Golf Club is home to an excellent 18-hole links golf course that has played host to a number of events and tournaments, including the Ryder Cup and Open Championship. This beautiful course has stunning views and is kept in fabulous condition. It has well-placed hazards and bunkers and will challenge golfers of all handicaps. Nature lovers will enjoy the abundance of wildlife that can be found on the course, including many endangered species.
Royal Birkdale needs no introduction, host to The Open, Ryder Cup, The PGA Match-Play and the Women’s British Open, ranked 3rd in the whole of England, Birkdale is one of the finest links in the world. Designed by Hawtree and Taylor this Par 72 championship course measures up to 6,900 yards. The course consists of forgiving flat fairways, rarely will your ball be thrown off the fairway, like many links, each hole is set between valleys of towering dunes meaning missing the middle, you can expect a high score. The greens are a great defence for the course, extremely difficult to read, and in immaculate condition all year round. Overall Royal Birkdale is a must play course for any keen golfer, and fantastic links course.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
