Overview
The Vila Gale Ampalius opened its doors in 1992 and has been a hit ever since with holidaymakers and golfers to the region. After undergoing several renovation projects since, the Vila Gale Ampalius is still one of the most sought after hotels for those visiting Vilamoura for the value it offers, the proximity to the Marina and the excellent Vila Gale signature service.
The hotel is one of the biggest in the town with 357 rooms and suites divided across 10 floors and residents can be assured of a warm welcome by the reception staff with many making an effort to know your name before you leave.
Facilities at this four-star hotel include a large, manicured lawn and swimming pool area to relax on, a lounge area within the large, stylish lobby, a games room, hairdressing salon, boutique offering the essentials, cosy bar and an air-conditioned restaurant serving local Portuguese and international delicacies. The hotel has its own car park as well as a garage for guests arriving by car, but with free transfers to Vilamoura’s six courses, there is very little need for you to hire any transport.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
