Overview
PGA Sweden National is situated in the former grounds of Torup Castle and is home to two fantastic 18-hole golf courses designed by golf course architect Kyle Phillips. The Links Course uses the natural environment to great effect and offers the typical characteristics of a links course with an abundance of small deep bunkers and undulating greens. The greens have been shaped to resemble the soft sand dunes of a typical Scottish links course with the grass specification being of fescue blend. The course is challenging with around 20 metres altitude difference and a stream which runs along seven of the holes.
The beautiful clubhouse is visible from every hole on the Links and on clear days, it is possible to see all the way to Turning Torso in Malmo. The parkland-style Lakes Course was opened in June 2010. The course was built entirely in harmony with nature and features small greens, large bunkers, creeping bent grasses and many water hazards. The course has stunning views of the surrounding countryside and offers an interesting test of golf even for the more experienced player. The spectacular purpose-built lake borders holes 9, 17 and 18 and is always ready and waiting for the wayward shot.
The Lakes Course boasts the same number of bunkers as the Links Course but with an overall area equal to almost three times that of the Links Course, you will have to be on your game to avoid these tricky hazards. This beautiful and challenging course is well worth visiting on your next trip to Malmo.
Location
Malmo is located in the far south of Sweden and is a cosmopolitan city with a lively atmosphere and a warm welcome. Access is via Copenhagen Airport with a transfer across the amazing Oresund bridge and tunnel, a combined 12km crossing from Denmark to Sweden over the longest bridge in Europe.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
