Overview
Bauge Pontigne is virtually unheard of outside of France, it is an understated golf club in a tucked away located on the edge of the Loire Valley, so if you are prepared to make the effort to go there you will be rewarded with a quiet course, friendly welcome and you will most probably be the only foreign car in the car park.
The golf course is set in the heart of an ancient forest in an exceptionally rural setting, this undulating course preserves all the charm of its natural environment in a calm setting and will appeal to golfers of all standards with its clever layout.
Play well, keep it straight off the tee and you will score well. This is not a course for the faint-hearted. It is excellent value for money in splendid surroundings. There is an old-fashioned clubhouse to enjoy lunch after golf. A traditional French golf club.
Location
Two diverse regions, both popular with travelling golfers yet far enough away to travel to avoid the crowds. Brittany has the longest coastline of any region in France and many of the golf courses and hotels that we feature take advantage of the coast, both on the northern and southern shores.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
