Overview
Val Andre is one of France’s best golf courses due to its spectacular setting and the design and challenging nature of its coastal holes. It is set between the cliffs and farmland on the north Brittany coast and there are magnificent views from many of the holes on the back nine.
Val Andre is quite short, but is by no means easy. The course starts out with some straight-forward holes running inland, a chance to find your swing and score some points, the holes get tougher as you head back to the clubhouse for the turn. The back nine is where the course steps up and heads to the cliffs. The best views are from the signature 11th hole, which offers panoramic sea views from its elevated back tee. The course then runs close to the coast for much of the back nine, so if your golf isn’t good, you’ll still enjoy the views.
We recommend a nice bottle of wine and the seafood platter in the clubhouse after your round, your last chance to enjoy the views. The course is great value and well worth the drive from the main resorts.
Location
Two diverse regions, both popular with travelling golfers yet far enough away to travel to avoid the crowds. Brittany has the longest coastline of any region in France and many of the golf courses and hotels that we feature take advantage of the coast, both on the northern and southern shores.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
