Overview
Lisbon Sports Club is a historic golf club, founded back in the 1920’s. The original golf course was swallowed up by the development of the city and the course has finally settled in Serra da Carregueira, near Belas, about 15 minutes from Lisbon
Now an 18-hole course, it is a very original layout having grown from nine to 14 and, since 1992, 18 holes. It is set in a valley and makes use of the plains, woodland and rivers running through the course. The holes are characterized by an assortment of distinctive designs, giving the golfer a range of possible shot selection and score making. Some holes encompass criss-crossing paths, allowing golfers to see varying parts of the course. The highlights of the course are holes number 1, 3 and 18, which stand out thanks to their natural beauty, unique layouts and relative difficulty.
The clubhouse is not only for the golf club as members come to enjoy the other facilities on offer including the tennis courts, swimming pool and the popular restaurant and bar.
Location
The Lisbon coast has been an important region for golf in Portugal for many years. It maybe not be as well-known as the Algarve but it has the golf courses, accommodation, sights and entertainment to match. To the west of Lisbon are Estoril and Cascais, destination of choice for many of our clients. These lively coastal resorts are flanked by a selection of excellent golf courses and have a variety of hotels, shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and the famous Estoril Casino for entertainment when not on the fairways.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
