Overview
Penha Longa is a 27-hole golf course designed by the famed Robert Trent Jones Jr and is a former host to the Portuguese Open. The Atlantic course is ranked in the top 30 Courses in Continental Europe. The course requires bold drives, courageous approaches and skilful putting. It is both a strategic test and a soothing journey through one of Portugal’s most inspiring landscapes. The course measures over 7,000 yards and has stunning views over Estoril, Cascais and the sea to the South and the Sintra hills to the North.
The course is challenging throughout with the final three holes the most difficult on the course. They are well protected, risk and reward holes and can provide a great finale to your round. The course is
exciting at every turn and is sure to provide a memorable round of golf.
In contrast, the Monastery course is a gentle nine-hole layout offering some respite away from the main course or an easier test for beginners and improvers. The clubhouse back at the hotel is excellent, plan some time to enjoy the facilities as well and the golf course and the views.
Location
The Lisbon coast has been an important region for golf in Portugal for many years. It maybe not be as well-known as the Algarve but it has the golf courses, accommodation, sights and entertainment to match. To the west of Lisbon are Estoril and Cascais, destination of choice for many of our clients. These lively coastal resorts are flanked by a selection of excellent golf courses and have a variety of hotels, shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and the famous Estoril Casino for entertainment when not on the fairways.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
