Overview
The five-star Precise Resort El Rompido has two excellent golf courses; the North and South courses. It also has a five-star hotel, excellent leisure an dining facilities and it offers various all-inclusive options, making it popular with golfing groups.
The original South Course is a challenging and beautiful course which has hosted many international tournaments over the years. The course is spread across parkland and marshland and has some excellent views to the coast and countryside. The walk from the 8th green to the 9th tee is across a 200 metre pontoon bridge over protected marshland and is a wildlife watchers paradise. The course itself is friendly, yet requires precision off the tee and a steady putter to be able to score well.
The North Course blends into the natural surroundings and requires good drives and a solid short game to post a good score. It is also based around the marshlands and is both longer and more forgiving than the South course. The greens can be tricky and are well guarded by the numerous bunkers. The golf course is fairly flat and is easy walking, in fact we recommend walking so that you can take time to enjoy the views. It is suitable for all standards of golfer.
Location
The Costa de la Luz, or the Spanish Algarve as it is also known runs from the Portuguese border to Gibraltar. It is one of the less developed coastal areas in Spain, yet has a wide variety of resorts, towns, hotels and golf courses to cater for all tastes.
Access is via Faro in the west, Jerez and Seville inland and Gibraltar in the south. The region is well spread and is very good value compared to parts of the neighbouring Costa del Sol and Algarve.

Once you have found the destination, hotel and golf courses that you would like to play, either fill in the ‘Request a Quote’ box or call us on 01371 483444. We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
