Overview
The Chateau de Vaudichon is a short drive from the main autoroute linking Calais to Rouen and it also convenient if travelling via Dieppe, so is a great location either for a stop-off heading into France or for a holiday venue in itself.
The original hotel was set in the converted 19th Century Chateau, set up on the hillside overlooking the valley and the opening holes of the on-site golf course. There are a mix of rooms sleeping from one to four people on the first floor of the main Chateau which either overlook the valley or the 18th green. In recent years the owners have converted the stables and outbuildings into another 13 modern rooms.
The hotel has an excellent restaurant, it is great value and serves quality meals, perfect after a day on the golf course. The friendly bar is popular with residents and members of the golf club alike.
The Saint-Saens golf course surrounds the Chateau and has with a variety of holes. The course starts in the valley before heading up into the woods and parkland before the final stretch back to the Chateau. This is an excellent value, highly recommended traditional golf hotel.
Location
Golf holidays in Normandy are excellent value. The region has easy access by road from the Eurotunnel terminal in Calais and by ferry to the regions ports at Dieppe, Le Havre and Caen. The coastal areas around Deauville, Trouville, Honfleur and Etretat are the most popular with a variety of good golf courses throughout.
We also recommend that you explore inland near Saint-Saens, Rouen and Nantilly for some super golf courses off the beaten track including Champ de Bataille and the stunning Golf Parc.

We will get back to you with a quotation by email. If this is to your approval call us so that we can run through your preferred itinerary and fine tune the details, we will then make the reservations and send you a confirmed itinerary. To secure the booking we will require a deposit of £50 per person with the balance payable eight weeks before you travel. It’s a simple as that!
