Overview
The Brèche golf course located in Granges currently includes 18 holes which are built on an area of 55 ha. The route is bordered to the north by the Rhône dike, to the east by the village of Granges, to the south by the cantonal road Sion – Grône and to the west by the protected area of Pouta-Fontana.
The architects of the course are for the first nine holes Messrs Maurice Bembridge and Michel Zufferey and for the extension Messrs Alain Dehaye and Jean-Claude Renggli. During the realization of the two stages of construction, these architects worked consort with the State services and the ecological associations in order to build a course respectful of the environment (flora and fauna) and the various associations which claimed the right to frequent the banks of the Brèche and Corne lakes (fishermen, friends of the gouille, divers, walkers).
Each hole of the course conceals a great wealth, either by points of view on the Alps and the surrounding stations, or by the variety of the essences of trees and flowers or by the numerous species of fish fauna, terrestrial or winged.
Location

Its cities contain medieval quarters, with landmarks like capital Bern’s Zytglogge clock tower and Lucerne’s wooden chapel bridge. The country is also known for its ski resorts and hiking trails.
